Lemon originated in Asia but became common in the Mediterranean following the expeditions of Marco Polo. The illustrious Persian doctor and philosopher Avicenna was already recommending it in the 11th century. The essence is obtained by cold-pressing the zest. It causes photosensitivity, so sun exposure must be avoided after use.

Recommendations: do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Cannot substitute a healthy diet associated to a healthy way of life. Keep out of reach of children. Suitable only for adults and children over 12. Do not use on pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not expose to the sun for 12 to 24 hours after use. Do not use on the skin. Store away from light and heat.

DIETARY SUPPLEMENT.
Recommended daily portion: 2 to 6 drops per day (equivalent to 90 to 270mg) during maximum 2 to 3 days in a teaspoon of vegetable oil.

Portion journalière recommandée : 2 à 6 gouttes par jour (soit 90 à 270mg) dans une cuillère à café d'huile végétale, pendant 2 à 3 jours maximum.
L'huile essentielle n'étant pas miscible dans l'eau, nous vous conseillons de la mélanger avec une cuillère à café d'huile végétale ou de miel.
