Cette huile essentielle n'est pas à prendre par voie orale. Reportez-vous aux indications portées sur le flacon. Concernant les huiles essentielles, seul un praticien de santé peut vous prescrire la voie orale.
Dans son ouvrage, Le grand guide des huiles essentielles, Madame Fabienne Millet, docteur en pharmacie, mentionne la voie cutanée diluée, la diffusion atmosphérique ou encore l'inhalation sèche.
