The translation of its Sanskrit name, nagarunga, means "elephant's favourite fruit". Also known as bitter orange essential oil, it is traditionally used for relaxation, thanks to its soothing scent.

A member of the Rutaceae family, this tree is originally a cross between the grapefruit and mandarin trees. Its fruit is edible but very bitter, while its flowers are highly fragrant.

Portion journalière recommandée : 1 à 3 gouttes par jour (soit 45 à 135mg) dans une cuillerée à café d'huile végétale, pendant 4 à 5 jours maximum.
