This plant is part of the same family as tea tree, niaouli and myrtle. Aboriginal Australians used eucalyptus for its myriad properties. It is also used in perfumery for its leaves which are rich in citronellal, a compound which lends a lemony note.

DIETARY SUPPLEMENT. Recommended daily portion: 1 to 3 drops (equivalent to 45 to 135mg) during maximum 4 to 5 days in a teaspoon of vegetable oil.
