Frankincense is also called "Real incense" and comes from Boswellia sacra. Boswellia sacra and Boswellia carterii refer to the same species. The word "Frankincense" refers to perfume incense and comes from the Arabic word al-luban. Ayurvedic medicine recommends it for skin diseases. It is the aromatic resin or oleoresin which, once hardened, is distilled to obtain the essential oil of frankincense.
Do not use while pregnant or breast feeding, nor for children under 7.Do not use for people who have a past history of seizures (convulsions) and / or essential oils allergies.A doctor or a qualified healthcare practitioner should be consulted for any specific therapeutic indication or for any oral therapy.
